About this policy

This policy describes the use of personal information for the “StaffPaper.io” app.

We will update this doc as our use of personal information changes.

Gathering of Personal Information

We do not collect personal information from the StaffPaper.io app.

Our app is largely self-contained (except exported PDFs, as described below), storing data on-device.

Purchases are made through Apple’s in-app purchase API, and payment is handled by Apple, without payment information being disclosed to us.

We do not currently use ads in our app.

We make use of the analytics provided by Apple (eg. the number of installs, number of purchases, etc.), however this does not include personal information.

Specifics of data use

Music written with our app is stored on-device. This is privacy-friendly, in that data is not sent to the cloud, however this means that data is not backed up off-device unless a device backup service is used. If you require backups, we recommend using iPad’s iCloud backup feature.

If you export PDFs using the paid version of our app, we attempt to store PDFs to iCloud. This is a best-effort upload, and will fail when offline, if the device is logged in to iCloud, or if iCloud is unavailable.

Changes to our data use will be indicated by a change to this policy.

When this policy changes, we will update the last-updated date at the top of this document.
